History
Mogul Beginnings was established in April 2020 with an initial focus on wealth-building. However, in 2022, our vision evolved to assist mission-driven organizations in increasing their revenue through the power of data. This shift aimed to provide these organizations with the necessary resources to create better, healthier communities. Drawing from her extensive background, the founder, Dr. Michele, observed how large corporations effectively leveraged data, while smaller organizations often missed out on its benefits. She founded Mogul Beginnings to bridge this gap, ensuring that all organizations, regardless of size, could tap into the power of data.
Additionally, Dr. Michele recognized a significant diversity gap within the data and tech sectors. To address this, she initiated training and internship programs aimed at increasing the number of Black data analysts. These programs prepare participants for lucrative careers, thus addressing both the wealth and diversity gaps in the industry. Today, Mogul Beginnings collaborates with various nonprofit organizations to enhance their storytelling capabilities, fostering better relationships with funders and stakeholders. We also work with for-profit organizations to analyze employee data, organize new program implementations, and promote a data-driven culture through targeted training. Over the past year, we have expanded our team to include a broader range of expertise, further strengthening our ability to serve our clients. We're looking forward to continuing to grow and create a space for learning and growing.
About The Founder
Meet Dr. Michele. Originally from Raleigh, NC, Dr. Michele is a teacher at heart and loves all things data and wants you to use it to get your business to the next level. She has 10 years of experience in research, public health, and data science with an expertise in training, data analysis, and predictive analytics that can anticipate customer needs, forecast events, and spot opportunities for growth.
She believes data is the secret weapon to your organization's success and wants mission-driven organizations (both for- and nonprofit) to take advantage of the same tools that big businesses use to dominate their markets. Her goal is not only to help these organizations, but train the next generation of Black data professionals in order to create a more diverse workforce in data and tech.

With advanced degrees in fields such as Statistics and Epidemiology, and over a decade of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and financial reporting, we bring a wealth of knowledge across various sectors. Our expertise has driven significant growth for startups and established companies alike, including increasing subscribers from 1,000 to 15,000 and expanding product offerings during challenging times.
